Well, tonight begins the home stretch in preparation of Best Gift 2008. That's what we're calling our Christmas production here at HGBC. It happens on Sunday evening at 6:00. I'm really excited about the event and am already proud of the effort put forth by our worship ministry team. I especially want to thank my two wonderful full-time cohorts. I'm blessed to work with absolute brilliance in Lynne Moses (Administrative Assisitant) and Hunter Hall (Director of Worship Arts). The hard work these two put into their ministry at Hunters Glen is extraordinary. Just the other night, Hunter was here until 3:00 a.m. working on our lighting rig. So that means that on Sunday he was here from 7:30 a.m. till 3:00 a.m. with a three hour break mixed in. That kind of hard work makes me want to put forth my very best effort as well.
So be praying for us as we have rehearsals every day this week except for Friday. Please pray that God will tune our hearts to worship along with our instruments and voices.
And just for fun, here's a picture from our Sunday school class party. The theme was tacky sweaters which I think we nailed. From left to right is myself, Hunter Hall, and my pastor, Kim Hall.
